Monday Morning, 8:30 AM
Jemma was back with a new problem.
“Chris, my mouse cursor is gone! It just disappeared! What do I do?”
Chris walked over to her desk, already suspecting the answer. He moved her mouse slightly, and the cursor reappeared.
“There you go,” Chris said, smiling politely.
Jemma looked baffled. “That’s it? Jack always made it seem like these things were way more complicated.”
Chris nodded. “Jack had a way of… keeping things interesting.”
As he walked back to his desk, Chris made another note in his log: “Jemma – occasional disappearing cursor panic.” It was shaping up to be another typical week in the life of IT.
